Catalysing the Venture Capital (VC) Ecosystem
Through Dana Impak, Khazanah established Jelawang Capital, the National Fund-of-Funds, to develop high-growth startups, promote entrepreneurship and support innovation across various sectors.
Jelawang Capital enables the growth of high-potential local VC fund managers and facilitates start-up access to early-stage funding, while attracting regional capital and partners who add expertise and scale to the ecosystem. In addition, it develops the VC ecosystem through its Emerging Fund Managers’ Programme (EMP) and Regional Fund Managers’ Initiative (RMI).

Levelling Up Mid-Tier Companies (MTCs)
Dana Impak supports the growth of MTCs with clear ambition, strong fundamentals and innovation potential by unlocking funding, fostering innovation and supporting capacity development to accelerate their growth.
As a strategic growth enabler, Dana Impak’s key initiatives include partnering with the Securities Commission Malaysia to enhance MTCs’ access to capital markets and launching the MTC Growth Innovation Programme (MGIP) to support firms at each phase of growth.
In addition, we collaborate with Private Equity and Private Credit funds that offer sectoral insight and operational support to MTCs, investing in these firms when necessary.
