Farm Fresh is one of Malaysia’s largest IPOs in recent years. It was oversubscribed by 18.74 times among the Malaysian public, reflecting public confidence in its expansion plans and future prospects.

Starting with one man’s dream to produce fresh milk locally, Farm Fresh has since grown into Malaysia’s largest integrated dairy company. Successfully listing on Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market on 22 March 2022, Farm Fresh raised about RM1 billion from its IPO to fund its expansion plans, ensuring sustained growth.

Our investment into Farm Fresh, which began in 2010, extends beyond finance. We have actively supported the company in matters of governance, recruitment, strategic planning and financial structuring, enabling its transformation into a fully integrated dairy company. Farm Fresh has also established a strong presence across the dairy value chain, from farm management and animal husbandry to milk processing and distribution, allowing them to grow production volumes while maintaining product safety and quality.

Farm Fresh also operates sustainably, empowers underprivileged communities and practises environmental stewardship. Over 70% of their workforce come from rural areas, including Orang Asli communities, while their home dealer distribution network comprises thousands of stockists, home dealers and agents based outside of cities. It grows alongside this network of entrepreneurs—many of them women—to ensure that they can improve their livelihoods while we continue to grow our reach.

Additionally, Farm Fresh also strives to create value across the value chain, considering the proximity of its operations to natural environments and local communities. Since 2014, they have implemented regenerative agricultural practices in phases, supporting the circular economy by using treated animal waste as bedding, fertiliser and for pasture irrigation. All their farms have received the internationally renowned Certified Humane® accreditation, demonstrating their commitment to prioritising animal health and welfare.
